As part of a collaborative Junior studio course, we were tasked with rebranding the Cornish College of the Arts extensions program, under it’s new moniker, Cornish +.

Designer Bill Flora was brought in as an art director and instructor.
He simulated the process, in a shorter capsule size, that he takes clients through to focus in on a brand identity and values.

From there we worked in small groups to devise different potential branding directions through design systems. Deliverables included: logo/logotypes/lockups, posters/mailers/social media ads.

My favorite element of this project  was a pamphlet I made using the design system my team devised together. I wanted some sort of informational pamphlet that had more tactility and engagement than typical college material.

In the design system we wanted to center students as well as the colleges facilities, and pulled textures and patterns from various labs and creative spaces in the school. You can pick out  things like book arts materials and screen printing tones used as texture in the work.

Pictured here is that pamphlet, a Stranger Seattle digital Ad, and Style Guide I produced for the project.
